Reimbursement of load allowance for Teachers

Teachers may reimburse their communication allowance from the start of pandemic (March 2020) up to December 2020.
Guidelines on allowing DepEd personnel to reimburse their communication expenses from the month of March to December of this year 2020, recently released by the Department of Education. Teachers may reimburse up to P300 per month.
To be able to reimburse the communication expenses, heads of offices shall identify and issue certifications to employees authorizing them to claim the reimbursement.
It was stated in the guidelines that “the amount which may be reimbursed shall not exceed P300 per month, to be certified by the authorized claimant as actual expenses incurred in connection with the discharge of their official functions and are necessary to support the operations of the agency amidst the pandemic.”
Personnel who will opt to reimburse their communication expenses will submit proof of purchase of the prepaid load and screenshot or the scanned copies of the electronic load with the reference number of the purchase.
