What is the best advice to a newly-hired teacher?
I asked a few teachers about what is the best advice they can give to a newly-hired teacher. This is what they had to say,” my advice is just be prepared!”
In teaching, many things will come our way, sad, others weren’t planned. If we are prepared in all we do, things will become better even in impossible challenges we encounter.
It is just okay to make mistake. The important is you learn from it. If you unexpectedly made some mistakes, try to make a sticky note to change that mistake next time around.
Good relationship and communication with your co-teachers can help you get better. You could benefit from talking and sharing your stuff. By that, you could build a support system. That will make your teaching life happy and stress- free.
