VP Sara: DepEd has 1 year to evaluate K–12 program

The Department of Education has one year to evaluate K–12 program, Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Z. Duterte said during an interview.
She stated, “President Marcos gave us one year, this school year, the school year 2022-2023, to offer a definitive response about our K-12 program here in the country.” VP Sara Duterte said, that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. provided the timetable during their second Cabinet meeting on July 19 in a post-State of the Nation Address (SONA) forum.
As the organization completed its evaluation of the K–12 program, she stated that they would implement the Basic Education Development Plan from the previous administration and added that the evaluation of the Senior High School program will be carried out under her supervision.
In order to strengthen the Philippine skills framework, Duterte further stated that she is working in conjunction with the Department of Labor and Employment.
